Habitat 11 Acres dense wood. Planted in 1999 by the Woodland Trust. Surrounded by open farmland.
Wildlife Home to summer migrants, including Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap. Many berry bearing trees and shrubs attracting good number of birds autumn and winter. Waxwings visited in 2010. Brown Argus butterfly recorded last year and others, also wandering Damsels and Dragonflies
Access From St Mary's Church Elsing - carry on west along Church Street, you will meet a junction, bear left onto Elsing Road. The wooded area in front of you at the next junction is Harnser Wood.
