Outdoor Meeting: Sunday 29th September 2019. Breydon Water. Co-ordinator Phil Borley

Meet at the Asda Car Park, Great Yarmouth (near the railway station) in time for a 9am start. There are toilet and cafe facilities in the supermarket. Free parking for 3hrs, try to park in the far corner nearest to Breydon Bridge.

We will walk under the bridge to get to Breydon Water and the hide. Hopefully the rising tide will push the birds towards us; telescopes will be very useful here. There ought to be plenty of waders, wildfowl etc.

After this, we will check out Yarmouth Cemetery TG527 884 for migrant passerines. Parking on Kitchener Road/North Denes Road; further directions will be given on the day after Breydon Water. There may be time to check out gulls etc. on the seafront or visit Burgh Castle if desired.

Remember to bring a packed lunch and suitable clothing/footwear for exposed locations, most walking will be on footpaths.
