Outdoor Event: Wild about the Wensum – Pensthorpe Natural Park 12th May 2018

Hosted by the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust at Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Fakenham Road. “Wild about the Wensum” was formed to help the community to connect, understand, appreciate and enjoy the local natural environment. We really appreciate your help in making this such an enjoyable, informative event.” Please join us on Saturday 12th May 2018 .

WVBS needs your help! Please volunteer to help on our stand this year. We have always supported this annual event and can only do so again with members willing to do a stint, as many or few hours that you can spare on the day. We ask that you chat to visitors interested in birds in the Valley and help children have a go at our birdy drawing and colouring competition.

Please contact LIN 01263 587262; email: wvbs.secretary @ gmail.com or add your name to the list at the next indoor meeting.

Guides in the Hides: For many years WVBS has provided the Guides in the Hides for this important event. Pensthorpe have opened 2 new hides in the last week – one overlooking the new scrape and the other looking out on feeders adjacent to an area of birdfeed strip. Depending on how many members are willing to volunteer we will decide on how many hides we can man. If you are willing to help on the day

Please let Ray Gribble know (Tel 01603 872709 , ray.gribble@tesco.net) and he will pull together a rota.”
