Christmas Social Evening 12 December – Christmas Meal The Swan Inn Ringland 6.30. for 7.00

We have booked the restaurant at the The Swan Inn, Ringland for our sole use. The evening is open to all members and their partners and friends.

This year we plan to have informal table quizzes, and possibly a couple of audio rounds assuming the chairman’s equipment is functioning. Of course, there will be a prize for the winning table.

We also would like to have a light hearted award presentation for the following:-

1. The best photograph of a bird seen in the Wensum Valley in 2019. So please email wvbs.chair@gmail.com with your entries (no more than 3 photos per entrant in jpeg format) by 1st December. Please attach them to the email. We plan to use photo submissions in our Annual Report for 2019.

2. The best reported bird(s) seen in the WVBS area. Our recorder David Gibbons will make the selection from his monthly sightings reports and no submissions are required.

The main course will be served at 7.00p.m, and we would suggest that participants arrive at approx.6.30pm to buy the necessary drinks from the bar.

We require a minimum of 30 people to make the evening viable.

We wish to run a raffle if members are happy to donate prizes.
