Sunday 29th January 2012 – Hardley Flood

leader David Knight

The walk is along the River Chet to Hardley Flood  and onto the hide and then we will continue to walk the complete circuit; some 5 miles in total.  The habitat is very varied with lots of opportunity to see  a range of woodland, marsh, farmland and water birds.

We meet at All Saints church car park, Chedgrave (TM362993) to begin the walk at 10.00 hrs. There is also a car park  just over the river bridge in Loddon which has free parking on sundays with toilets  and a friendly cafe opposite.

Most  of the walk is along  firm paths  but the path especially near  Hardley Flood  can be muddyand slippy so please wear appropriate footwear. We should be out for about 4-5 hours so bring a packed lunch and hot drinks.

David Knight is leading this walk so please contact David (01362 668931) or add your name to the Attendance List at our indoor meetings if you wish to join us. On the day you can contact David on his mobile( 07742727616) in case of emergencies.
