Thursday 20th March – Birds, Birders and the work of the BTO
Birds, Birders and the Work of the BTO speaker Paul Stancliffe
Paul tells us he is a lifelong birdwatcher, having started his first notebook in 1974. He has lived in the New Forest, on Spurn Point, the Isles of Scilly and currently resides in Norfolk.
Paul has worked at the BTO for seven years and he is Media Manager for the BTO. His talk will look at the work of the organization and how birdwatchers of all levels can not only contribute to it’s scientific work, but also inform conservation action on the ground.
