Sunday 9th August – Field trip to RSPB Minsmere

coordinator Ray Gribble

This is usually one of the highlights of the year. During the day we would hope to see such star birds as Bearded Tit, Marsh Harrier and Bittern plus many others including returning waders en route south. We will meet at the reserve in the cafe area at 9.30am before setting off. It may be best to bring packed lunch and drink so that we do not need to return to the cafe if the birding is good. Otherwise we may not get around all the hides. Bring suitable clothing for the conditions on the day. The paths may be muddy or rutted on the day.

Please note this trip was cancelled due to bad weather on 25th July and will now take place as above. All other details remain the same.
