Saturday 26th June – A field trip to RSPB Strumpshaw Fen

Meet at the Reserve reception hide for a 9 am start. Please  remember to bring your RSPB membership cards. This is an all day trip so a packed lunch and liquid refreshment is advisable. The footpaths are level but may be muddy in parts. Wear suitable walking shoes/boots and appropriate clothing. There are toilet facilities on site.

Strumpshaw Fen is a diverse habitat with a variety of birds, butterflies, dragonflies and wild flowers.

Directions. The map reference is TG342067. Turn off the A47 Norwich to Great Yarmouth road at the Brundall roundabout. Follow through Brundall keeping left at mini-roundabouts and beyond the railway bridge turn sharp right and right again into Low Road. This leads to the reserve car park.
