Saturday 26th April – Wild about the Wensum

This fun filled family day is hosted by the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust. There will be lots of exciting activities running throughout the day based around conservation in the Wensum Valley. This educational event runs from 10am to 5pm and offers an inspiring insight into the natural environment.

As usual WVBS have a stand in the main marqueebut we desperately need you to volunteer for a stint on our stand telling  visitors all about our great Society. Or you might be prepared for a spell as a Guide in the Hide at the wader scrapes to inform visitors about the birds there. You will not be on your own and your carpark is free as is your coffe/tea. You can have a short or long session. It’s entirely up to you . So come on members we do need you.

Free entrance in to the reserve and  free car parking for volunteers. (£4 per car to park otherwise)

Contact Wendy Brown for the stint on our stand  and Ray Gribble for Guides in the Hide. You can also sign up on the Event Sheet at our next indoor meeting.
