Saturday 25th April – Wild about the Wensum

Wild about the Wensum

This fun filled family day is hosted by the Pensthorpe Conservation Trust. There will be lots of exciting activities running throughout the day based around conservation in the Wensum Valley. This educational event runs from 10am to 5pm and offers an inspiring insight into the natural environment. As usual WVBS have a stand in the main marque and we need you to volunteer for a stint on our stand telling visitors all about our great Society. or you might be prepared for a spell as a Guide in the Hide at the wader scrapes informing visitors about the birds there. You will not be on your own and your car parking is free as is your coffee/tea. You can have a short or long session so it’s entirely up to you. So come on members we need you.

Free entrance to the reserve. Free car parking for volunteers. (£2 per person otherwise).
Contact Lin Pateman to help on our stand or Ray Gribble for Guides in the Hide. You can sign up on the Event Sheet at our indoor meetings.
