Outdoor Meeting: Field Trip: Bean Boats trip to Blakeney Point Leader/Coordinator: Mary Walker Saturday 22nd September 2018

We have reserved places on the 4p.m. sailing from Morston Quay by Beans Boats – cost will be £11 per person and is payable in advance. This sailing will give us optimum time on the point (approx 2 hours) and still allow time for seal viewing.

Meet Morston Quay NR25 7BH at 3.30p.m.


The Anchor Inn, The Street, Morston at 1 p.m. To enjoy lunch beforehand.

Birdwise:- Blakeney Point is completely unpredictable. The same week in 2017 produced an Olive-backed Pipit, Redbacked Shrike,Yellow-browed Warbler, Redstart, and the first of the Snow Buntings.

Toilets: On the Quay and at Blakeney Point.

Parking: The Quay at the bottom of Morston Lane provides ample parking (free to National Trust members).

There is also a small cafe.

No facilities on the point except for toilets.
