Indoor Meeting: Thursday 18th July 2019. Our Place – Speaker Mark Cocker

N.B. This meeting will start at the earlier time of 7p.m

We are delighted to welcome back Mark Cocker who was the guest speaker at our 10th Anniversary meeting. This time Mark will be asking “Can we save Britain’s Wildlife before it’s too late?” This presentation is one of Mark’s best as he passionately sets out his case. This is based on his recent book and you can read a review here
Hopefully Mark will bring some copies of his book along to sign and sell.
The highly accomplished Author and Naturalist lives and works in Claxton, Norfolk, with his wife and has two daughters. Mark writes extensively for the Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Independent and BBC Wildlife.
Preceding Marks talk, the Fish and Chip van will be visiting our HQ for us to enjoy a pre-ordered fish and chip supper, before settling down to enjoy Mark’s presentation. Friends and family are invited to join us tonight.
Ticket prices are £9 for Members and their friends, and we will if there is space, offer tickets to the General Public at £12.
The ticket will include a dessert and coffee. There will be gluten free fish and another vegetarian option available by special request, so hopefully all dietary issues are catered for. Please let us know if you have any special requirements when ordering.
Donations for a dessert for the buffet table will be welcome and we would be happy to reimburse reasonable costs. Please speak to Mary if you can help.
Please bring your own drinks and cutlery dessert bowls and glasses.
Tickets can be reserved from today and also purchased at our May 16th and June 20th Indoor Meetings. They will go on sale to the General Public on 18th May 2019. Telephone Keith or Mary on 01603 569897 or e-mail
