18th May, 2013: Wild about the Wensum

Saturday 18th May, 2013, Event at Pensthorpe, Wild about the Wensum

This wonderful conservation event will again be held at Pensthorpe and the money raised this year will go to Operation Turtle Dove. There will be guided walks, many creative crafts, bird watching activities, nature quizzes, puzzles, face painting, local craft demonstrations, local conservation groups, a recycling display and lots more. It is usually a great day out. The event starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm. WVBS will again have our stand there to publicise the Society and, hopefully, also provide an event for the children attending.

As last year we have offered to provide a “Guide in the Hide”. There are now 2 hides so if possible it would be good if WVBS could man both hides during the day.
Cost of entry is just £4 per car and its occupants.
Those members helping on the WVBS stand or guiding in the hide get in FREE!

Do come along and support this event and if you could spare an hour or so to either man the WVBS stand or be a “Guide in the Hide” please contact me, Ray Gribble, on 01603 872709 or ray.gribble@tesco.ne
