Club Clothing

Club Clothing

by Alan Hughes

I am pleased to announce the revival of our club clothing sales, but this time with a larger range of items, and all with a good range of colours. All will have our familiar and attractive club logo embroidered onto it, and I have deliberately chosen clothes of good quality but of good value for money. All items (in the various colours) will be available for members to examine at our indoor meetings.

The following will be available to order:-

• Beanie Hat £6.10

• Baseball Cap £6.69

• Body Warmer £17.39

• Polo Shirt £11.34

• Hoody £14.93

• Zip Hoody £17.40

• T-shirt £6.84

• Zip Fleece £18.35

• Sweatshirt £12.08

Most of these will be available in the following colours (which I chose to be suitably sober for wearing on birding trips):-
• Bottle Green

• Charcoal

• Heather Grey

• Navy Blue

• Black

• Maroon

I hope you agree that these are all offered at a very reasonable cost – we have deliberately kept the mark-up as low as possible, as the committee views this as a service to members and to the club as a whole, and not a generator of funds. We hope that everyone will feel able to buy at least one item from time-to-time, and then wear them at club events, and out in the field as this should be excellent publicity for our club, as well as comfortable, attractive and warm clothing, ideal for all birding trips.
Completed order forms  should be given to myself along with correct payment as cash or a cheque please – I will not be at the September 2018 meeting, so please hang onto your first order forms until October. Anything ordered at one meeting should be delivered at the next month’s meeting.
As well as samples of the clothes, order forms and a sizing guide will be available at our indoor meetings, along with the manufacturers’ catalogues in which more details of each item can be viewed. This is a new venture for me, so I would welcome any constructive feedback. Please help to make this a success for our club.
