November field trip POSTPONED

Tomorrow’s field trip to Caister St Edmund has been postponed because of the weather conditions.

We aim to re-arrange it for some time next year.

Thursday 9th December – Christmas Social

Please make a note in your diary for this “not to be missed” event. An evening of Christmas Fayre, Fun and Frolics. Our usual appeal is for members to supply a plate of food ( cakes/savouries/puddings etc. ) enough for about 6 people. Lin Pateman  is co-ordinating this to ensure we don’t all bring the same. Saturday 27th November – Chris Skinner’s High Ash Farm; Caister St Edmund

Chris has won prestigious conservation awards for the way he runs his farm with a high percentage of the acreage being put down to wildbird food crops. One area is of 23 acres and should produce good numbers of finches and buntings by the time we go. Continue reading
