Wensum Valley Birdwatching Society

High tide at Snettisham is at 0945 so we intend getting in position in/around Rotary Hide about 0900.

Meet at Morrison’s supermarket, Fakenham ( TF934307) to leave there at 0730.  Park in the usual spot on the far LHS near the main road.  We will get clearance from the supermarket management on the understanding we leave a list of the number plates of the cars remaining.  If you can agree car sharing before the day it would be helpful.

Event leader for this trip is David Knight. Contact David to confirm attendance or complete an attendance sheet at any of our events. Please let David know if you intend travelling direct to Snettisham. We plan to arrive there at the RSPB carpark 0815. We will probably be moving on elsewhere after the Spectacular.  Where will depend on what birds are about.  Bring packed lunch and appropriate clothing.  On the day please contact David on his mobile.

Note. Terrain generally flat but there are three sets of steep steps to negotiate.  From the RSPB carpark there is a 1 ½ mile walk to the first hide (Rotary Hide ).  Stout footwear is recommended.
